We want everyone to have a wonderful, safe weekend. Here's what to know before you come. By buying a pass or attending Salsaotearoa, you agree to these terms.
Passes are non-refundable. If you can't make it, you can transfer your pass to someone else for a $25 transfer fee. Transfers must be completed by 21 May 2027. Please email us at [email protected] with the new pass holder's name and contact details. Please have your pass ready for entry.
Artists, schedules and workshops may change due to illness, travel issues or other things outside our control. We'll do our best to find a suitable replacement and keep you informed.
We'll be photographing and filming throughout the weekend, including workshops, performances and parties, for use on our website, social media and promotion. By attending, you agree that you may appear in this content. If you'd prefer not to be featured, tell a team member and we'll do our best to respect that. You may also take photos and videos for personal use. Please ask before filming others up close, and don't sell or publish recordings of artists' performances or classes without permission.
Salsaotearoa is a welcoming community, so please treat everyone with respect. Always ask before dancing, and accept a "no" gracefully, whether it's given to you or by you. Harassment, discrimination or unwanted contact won't be tolerated, and we may remove anyone from the event without a refund. If something doesn't feel right, tell any team member.
Dancing is physical, so please take care of yourself and others. Warm up, wear suitable footwear, pace yourself and tell us if you need help. Look after your own belongings, as we can't take responsibility for lost or stolen items. Please look out for each other on and off the dance floor.
Under 18s should be accompanied or supervised by a parent, guardian or teacher, who is responsible for them during the event, including in venues where alcohol is served.
Alcohol is served at the venue in line with New Zealand law. Please drink responsibly and expect to be asked for ID. Don't bring your own alcohol into licensed areas, and we may refuse service to anyone.
We want everyone to be able to take part. Our venue is accessible friendly. If you have particular accessibility needs, email us at [email protected] and we'll work with the venue.
We collect your details to run the event, sell passes and keep in touch with you about this event. We won't sell your information.
